Vaccine Storage and Temperature Control
Vaccines contain biological substances that are sensitive to temperature fluctuations, which can affect their stability and potency. For example, when vaccines are exposed to temperatures that are too high or too low, their active ingredients may degrade, reducing their ability to elicit an immune response. This degradation can result in a vaccine that is less effective or even completely ineffective in preventing the diseases it is designed to protect against. Furthermore, improper storage can lead to wasted vaccines, increased costs, and a higher risk of disease outbreaks due to inadequate immunity in the population.Â
